The Falchions, a family of medieval and Renaissance swords of a single hand that included the Messer, Storta, Braquemart, Badelair and Malco, among others. Called thus by its one-edged blade, "falcata", from the Latin "falcatus", and which means sickle, refers to a sword that widens or curves to the tip. The Cimitarra, whose roots go back very far to the Greco-Roman forms, has its own aesthetic. It is not a simple Scimitar from the East, this is an indigenous European sword shape that came with different shapes, size, tip design and style of the hilt. The Hattin follows one of the most popular medieval versions, similar to the famous Falcata Conyer, with a surprisingly maneuverable convex shape coupled with a classic cruciform hilt.

Throughout the history of war and fencing these robust weapons played a much-needed role for their powerful short blade. A weapon for a man who works, the scimitar served as both a "machete" as a weapon in the fearsome war.

Includes matching case with belt hook and decorated box.
